Deceleration in Spanish House Price Rises |

According to figures published by the government the slight deceleration of house price rises over the last quarter means the house price rises have dropped to below 10% for the first time since 2001. House prices in Spain, which have seen an overall increase of 140% over the last seven years have now seen eleven quarters of deceleration.
The average rise in house prices over the last 12 months is 9.8% whereas the average increase in Catalonia has been 11.8%, behind the top three regions of Cantabria, Aragón and La Rioja, who had rises of 15.2%, 14.3% and 13.9% respectively. |
