The moment you will step out of the car, a warm and gentle breeze brush away your hair. It will also bring the smell of freshly bloomed flowers to your noses. You have to drive for 2,5 hours from the centre of Barcelona to the mesmerizing small fishing town Cadaqu\u00e9s.<\/a><\/span> This town is located along the Costa Brava in the province of Girona.<\/p>\n

The nature that defines Cadaqu\u00e9s and the surrounding areas is wonderful and you can enjoy the sight of snow-covered mountains from your car. The further up the road take you, the more amazing the view overlooking the valley below is. In fact, the \u2018Perafite\u2019 which is produced at a family vineyard, is a really good red wine, fresh and fruity.<\/p>\n

Trees, plants, colourful lighting, beach-style bars and quality service make the entire experience complete. You will quickly get the feeling that this was a place for everyone regardless of preferences. Coming here in the summer season you will walk into a bar which is full of life.<\/p>\n

As Paris has the Eiffel tower and London Big Ben, Cadaqu\u00e9s has its church. A church where many artists and painters over the years have traveled to. They had the intention of capturing their own interpretation of its beauty and surroundings. This monument and the presence of Salvador Dal\u00ed house makes Cadaqu\u00e9s just as much a place for those with artistic interests as for nature lovers. Some are going to visit the house of Salvador Dal\u00ed and take a drive by his childhood vacation house while others will hike in the Parc de Natural de Cap de Creus. This is a place so beautiful and unique that it gave Gaud\u00ed his inspiration for La Sagrada Familia.<\/p>\n

Finally if you ever get the opportunity to visit this haven, we urge you to grab it with no hesitation. Go there not only for the nature and the art history but also for the small town experience.
